DSA AFROSOC Commission
Afro-Socialists & Socialists of Color.
The Savannah DSA AFROSOC Commission is the chapter’s local formation for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color who want to connect, develop leadership, and organize together.
A political home for socialists of color.
The DSA AFROSOC Commission is DSA’s national formation for Black, Indigenous, and people of color. It supports members of color as organizers and leaders and helps build relationships between DSA members and the communities they come from.
Savannah’s local effort is being built in connection with that broader national formation while focusing on the needs, relationships, and organizing conditions of our own chapter and region. Learn more about National AFROSOC.
Help shape the DSA AFROSOC Commission.
If you identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color, tell us a little about yourself and how you may want to participate as the local formation takes shape.
