migrant rights working group
Defending our migrant neighbors, regardless of citizenship status, from detention, deportation, and exploitation.
The Migrant Rights Working Group organizes alongside immigrants, refugees, undocumented people, and their families in Savannah and the Coastal Empire. We fight racist immigration enforcement, workplace abuse, and criminalization. Our goal is simple: everyone in our communities deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to move, stay, and thrive without fear. ICE OUT OF SAVANNAH. ICE OUT OF GEORGIA.
What we fight for

- Dignity and safety for all migrants. We support campaigns for language access, safe workplaces, housing, and public services regardless of status.
- Permanent status and a right to stay. We stand for pathways to citizenship, family unity, and an end to deportations that tear communities apart.
